The Art of Susan Wick
Wick studies life and people, she is the ‘maker of things.’ Colorful and energetic, her works are imbued with personal meaning and underlying narratives inspired by current events of her life and the world.
Many of her paintings contain pairs, and those with single figures often have companion paintings. She works in clay, textiles, yarn and found objects as well.
The characters in her art are sometimes between human and animal and frequently androgynous. Creating genderless dramas and inventing new species with her imagination. Wick paints a world that is anything but lonely. See more.
